Our ability to provide our recruitment services may be impacted without certain information from you, including our ability to identify roles that may be suitable for you and placing candidates with our clients in a permanent, temporary or contract role.

Your personal information may be collected:

• if you’re applying for a role through us, or would like to be considered for future opportunities, so that we can review and match your details held by us against current or future job vacancies;

• to assist us to facilitate the completion of pre-employment screening such as background checks;

• to enable us to provide you with career advice, resume reviews, newsletters, or roles available in the market;

• for contractors, to assist us to facilitate initial and then ongoing payroll management processes or assist us to manage ongoing payroll, performance and/or issues and incidents;

• for clients, to assist us to discuss potential recruitment services or, as an engaged client, so that we can provide candidates with your information as part of the recruitment process or facilitate billing and invoicing processes;

• for referees, to assist us to complete our background and reference checking process.

How we collect your Personal Information

We only use personal information for the purposes for which it was given to us, or for purposes which are directly related to one or more of our functions or activities. We typically collect personal information directly from you. Collection methods may include:

• When we meet you in person or remotely (video conference/telephone).

• When you apply for a job online through our website or other online platforms.

• When you interact with us directly via phone, email or other means.

• When you subscribe to our newsletter.

We may also obtain personal information about you from the following third-party sources:

• Pre-employment screening and background checking providers.

• Referees provided by you as part of the recruitment process.

• Our service providers, including third party payroll providers.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We may need to disclose some of your personal information to third parties, including prospective employers, referees, our professional advisors or service providers.

We may disclose personal information about an individual to overseas organisations that help us provide our services, in certain circumstances, such as when storing information with a “cloud service provider” which stores data outside of Australia, or when undertaking international search campaigns. Overseas jurisdictions may include the United States, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.

How we hold your Personal Information

We retain your personal information for the purposes of providing future services to you unless you advise otherwise. We take all reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we hold, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date, including at the time of collection and when using or disclosing the personal information.
